4 pro photographers have come together for this 4 hr event, providing professional images to benefit the Vandenhoek’s adoption of Ugandan Siblings! $60 minimum donation nets you a 20 min session and 6 high resolution images on CD. What do you need to do? Just show up! No appts, no cheesy gimmicks – just serious photo fun! Family photos, business headshots, kids, dogs, you bring it we’ll capture it!

At their egg hunt this year, they announced their 2011 McCabe Group $60 Money Grow Challenge. They gave 26 individuals each $60 in cash to use as seed money and asked them to grow it into more money and then donate it to their favorite charity, organization, family or friend in need. In October the 26 participants will meet up and share McCabe Group Money Grow Challenge stories and they will see how much as a group they all grew their $60 into.

The Relay For Lifeis the signature community event for the American Cancer Society. Its a life-changing event that gives everyone in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease. At a Relay For Life, teams of people camp out at a local school, park, or even fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event. Because cancer never sleeps, Relays are overnight events up to 24 hours in length as Sherwood’s Relay For Life is. We all come together and for one mission: To Celebrate, Remember, and to Fight Back for the money that we have raised that will go towards cancer research, education, and advocacy that make a difference in the fight against cancer.

In April at their Benefit Egg Hunt For HOPE event, The McCabe Real Estate Group gave 26 people each $60 (total of $1,560.00) and challenged them to grow their $60 into more money and to make a difference with it. How much can the McCabe’s total donation amount of $1,560.00 grow into? $10,000? $25,000? The sky is the limit! There are no rules…simply make that money grow for a person, family, group or organization. They told their articipants to be creative and have fun while making a difference in their community.
How are they growing their McCabe Group $60 Money Grow Challenge? Instead of just “giving it away”, the participants are hosting dinner parties, selling baked goods,walking dogs, organizing professional photography sessions, and having car washes to name a few of their fundraisers. Once they are feel they are done growing their money, they are then to donate it to their favorite cause, organization, or even a friend or family in need.
On October 6th the participants and the McCabe Real Estate Group will all meet up to hear their stories on how they grew their money and what they did with it. They are all excited to see how much Todd and Leslie McCabe’s donation of $1,560.00 actually grew into and how it made a difference in other’s lives.
This Saturday, July 30th in Sherwood at the Sherwood Police Department, one of our McCabe Money Grow participants is hosting a car wash. Please come support her event!
